Lymph treatment and lymphatic massage
The lymphatic system moves fluids and mucus in the body and defends the body from bacteria, viruses and other substances that do not belong to the body.
The heart acts as the pump of our circulatory system, but the lymphatic system does not have such a power source. The body's own muscle activity, the pulse force of the muscles around the arteries and the function of the lungs have a positive effect on the lymphatic circulation.
Lymphatic massage invigorates lymphatic circulation
In addition, the lymph fluid circulation can be accelerated by e.g. with exercise and lymphatic massage. Lymphatic massage is light, because too much weight causes the lymphatic vessels to collapse and the desired flow is not created.
A relaxing treatment
The treatment is very relaxing and some people fall asleep during it. The treatment does not aim to invigorate blood circulation, which is why you may feel cold after the treatment.
Improving metabolism increases the need to urinate. To enhance the removal of waste products, it is recommended to drink plenty of water during treatment periods.
